ArGoSoft Mail Server
is an SMTP, POP3, and Finger server which allows you to turn your computer into an e-mail system.
I have used Argo soft's e-mail server in the past. It was small, fast, and easy to use. I worked in a small startup company that was a subsidiar of a larger company. The larger company had troubles getting us fully functional on their exchange server, specifically for sending mail. 6 of us used argo soft on our laptops to send mail and it worked wonderfully.
